Homework:
Maestro Nunez will send homework to reinforce some knowledge from the class lessons. Check communication folders and the instructions given in this website (see Deberes y tareas/ Homework).
Late work:
Please help your student learn to be responsible by helping them get all their work turned in on time. Late work will be accepted for partial credit, and the student may miss out a separate activity or recess to make up their work.
Absent Work:
Absent work does not earn a deduction on their grade. However, students should turn it in within a few days of absence or it will become late.
Home Communication Folders:
Please, check these every day. Anything in the left side needs to be completed and sent to school next day.
Rules and consequences:
Millcreek rules are the following:
- Follow directions first time given.
- Keep your hands, feet and other objects to yourself (KYHFOOTY).
- Be on task.
- Communicate positively.
In 3rd Grade we also expect a willing and positive attitude.
If an individual has a minor lapse of judgment, these are the consequences:
1. They will have a warning.
2. Sent to think time.
3. Think time in a Buddy Room.
4. Contact parents.
5. Sent to the office (also used for severe behavior problems).
